Continental Scale Feedstock

4Rivers can take delivery of both local and non-local feedstock from a huge area of the continental U.S.; vast quantities of corn are transported from the U.S. Mid West Corn Belt down the Mississippi using multiple trains of river barges.

4Rivers also has the option to take delivery of local corn by unit train or road transport from one of the largest agribusiness and corn feedstock suppliers in the world. 4Rivers will also utilize other sources of corn to ensure that 4Rivers secures the optimum deal for this critical feedstock. There is also a plentiful supply of soy oil which can be delivered to the site for BioDiesel production, primarily by barge.

4Rivers sees no limitation on economic feedstock supply given that the Project will not impact significantly on the continental-scale supply available.

Offtake - Quality Customers

Agreement in principle has been reached with a blue chip U.S. company specializing in the freight, logistics and trading of renewable fuels across the entire U.S for the offtake of the full 130 MMGPY BioEthanol production.

Discussions have been held with one of the largest refiners in North America who are prepared to take all of the 35MMGPY BioDiesel production. Furthermore, local trucking and construction companies have expressed interest in offtaking approximately 10 MMGPY. The potential demand by local rail and marine operators has been considered and could well be a source of offtake for all of the BioDiesel production.

Dried Distillers Grains (DDGS) for the animal feed market will be an important co-product from the BioEthanol plant. A major agribusiness has indicated that it would be prepared to offtake the entire DDGS output of the BioEthanol plant.

Glycerine is produced as a co-product from the BioDiesel refining process. Negotiations are underway for glycerine supply to one of the largest industrial and specialty chemical suppliers in the U.S. A local chemical company is also interested in the offtake of glycerine to manufacture "environmentally friendly" antifreeze.
